Ingredients
- 500 gms minced meat
- 3 tbsp gram flour/besan
- 1 tbsp oil + for frying
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 bunch coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1 bunch mint, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 3 green chilies, slit
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- salt as needed
- 1/2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
Instructions
- Heat a tbsp of oil and add jeera, and onion. Cook till onion turns golden brown in color.
- Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric, green chillies, mint and mix well.
- Add minced meat and 2 cups of water and cooked till the meat is done.
- Now mix in the red chilli powder, garam masala powder and grind in the food processor till it makes a coarse paste.
- Add salt, besan and coriander leaves and mix well with the ground meat paste.
- Divide the mixture equally into lemon-sized portions and shape each of them into a circle.
- Heat the oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties until they turn a golden brown
- Remove and drain the excess oil on kitchen towels. Serve hot with mint chutney.
