Q: Tell us about Nude Food?
A: Nude Food is the only nutritionist based food line in the country. We design and customise diet plans according to our clients’ goals; whether they want a total cleanse, a fat burning plan or a metabolism booster. We do gluten free, dairy free and sugar free snacks like cookies, brownies and other desserts as well for those who are intolerant. You can either go straight in to our plans or consult Mantahaa before starting to make sure which plan suits you. Once we are aware of your goals, we weigh you, measure you and deliver the food at your door step. We don’t forget about your cravings and keep it real to top it up with dessert from our side.
Q: How do you guys operate it?
A: I and my partner Afshan function together like clockwork. I design the plans keeping in mind the calorie count of the individuals depending on their needs and Afshan creates menus in her kitchen. It’s not only the calorie count but also the fat, carbohydrate and the protein grams that you have to keep in mind. You can’t deliver the same kind of food every day, variety is the spice of life; and nobody knows it better than nude food. We have been getting great feedback on our menus and will not stop inventing and re-inventing them for our health freaks out there.
Q: How did this idea come to your mind?
A: Being a nutritionist, I deal with clients from different walks of life every day. Most of them are busy professionals and moms who are occupied with their kids to the extent that they keep their needs on the back burner. If you don’t take care of yourself and your health, how can you take care of your children? How can you perform at work? I always got asked “do you deliver?” That’s when I started delivering.
Q: How are you planning to expand it?
A: Baby steps at a time is what I believe in. We want the line to grow organically because word of mouth is the best advertisement. We don’t have any plans of expansion at the moment, but our mission is to make healthy food available to all. We are open to all questions regarding our line. It’s well thought of and our key value is quality over quantity. Our customer base is not just everyone, but those who understand nutrition and have serious goals.
Zucchini : 1 hollowed and made like a boat.
Broccoli : ½ cup chopped.
Onions : ½ cup chopped.
Mushrooms : ¼ cup chopped.
Parsley : chopped 1/8 cup.
Zucchini :chop the inside that is hollowed.
Bell Peppers : ¼ cup chopped.
Chicken: ½ cup Qeema
Garlic : 1 tbsp.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan, add onions, garlic then add chicken, sauce it for 2 minutes then add all the vegetable. Fill the zucchini boats with the mixture, top it with homemade salsa and cottage cheese and bake for 10 minutes.
