Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Mushrooms


20 button mushrooms, stems removed
1 8- oz. block cream cheese, softened
1 c. Cheddar, shredded
8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
1 jalapeno, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Chopped fresh chives, for garnish


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, jalapeno, and garlic and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Stuff mushrooms with mixture and transfer to a baking dish or sheet.
  3. Bake until mushrooms are cooked and mixture warmed through, 25 minutes.
  4. Garnish with chives.
